The KDE Community today announced the availability of KDE 4.2, codenamed "the answer", which makes the free desktop finally ready for end users. KDE 4.2 is developed based on technologies introduced with KDE 4.0 in January 2008. after the release of version 4.1, dedicated mostly to experienced users, the KDE community is now certain to have a concrete offer for the majority of end users.
