Ring river Padova
- length: 54 km.
- duration: 5 hours not including stops at a brisk tourist recreation. To appreciate the attractions of the route is to take in 6 / 8 hours.
- difference: virtually nil, some ups and downs in the road and railway underpasses.
- municipalities concerned : Padova, Limerick, Vigodarzere, Cadoneghe, Noventa Vigonza and Padua.
- path: it takes place almost completely on top of the embankment with the exception of some stretches properly pointed out that runs on the road (municipal or provincial).
- the full map is here on Google-maps .
- means: not a race bike, any bike is fine robust, even a city bike or 'mythical' Graziella, but better than a BMX or MTB. Caution: Use a comfortable seat, the miles are not few!
- for a ride in peace and security make sure you have brake lights and efficient, and uses the helmet meets the road signs carefully!
- access points: if you live inside the ring you can choose any path that takes you to the nearest point of the passage of a dam.
If you come from outside and perhaps you have the bike in the car , I recommend unattended parking near the Temple Church Unknown boarding school, very close to the bank of drainage canal: click here to locate a parking Google-maps.
If you arrive by bike to the train station of Padua ( click here for location on a Google-maps) council to bring north to Pontevigodarzere. Otherwise it would be better to leave the train with your bike to Train Station Ponte di Brenta (middle segment D, see below)
